Me and My Noises that I Make - 10/24/20

This week's? month's? episode is a full-length episode where I talk about a bunch of stuff including books by Tana French, music from Big Star, The Replacements, Lou Reed, and Prince, and I touch on some recommended Halloween viewing--Ed Wood, Rocky Horror, Clue, and Knives Out. It's a fun one. Enjoy it! I DEMAND that you enjoy it!

So here's the player:

And here's the time-index-thingy:

And here's an ass-ton of photos:
The cover photo, of course.

I mentioned that I live in pajama pants and slippers now, so here's a picture of that.

Here are the Tana French books I mentioned. I mostly talked about The Witch Elm.

The CD set for Big Star's Complete Third. I've also got it on vinyl but didn't feel like digging it out.
My favorite Replacements album. One of my favorite ALBUMS. Talked about the deluxe version for a while.

Here's the stuff in the box for Pleased to Meet Me.
Lou Reed's "New York" got the deluxe treatment too. It's great.

Here's inside the New York album.
This is the guitar pedal and cassette I mentioned in the show. I'm very happy to have both!

The Prince Sign O The Times box set is freaking incredible...Hefty and just FULL of stuff...see the next several pics...
The book that houses the music is MASSIVE and heavy.

Here's a sample from inside the book. There's a ton to read and look at in it.
...including some shots of Prince's own lyric sheets and notes!

The box contains one DVD...
...and a whopping EIGHT CDs! It's awesome!

And these are the movies I'm going to be watching on Halloween.
