The cover photo. The book titles aren't as super crisp as they were before upload. We'll all just have to live with that, I'm afraid.

This is the book that sent me down the rabbit hole of reading Neil Gaiman's stuff. The cover just kinda popped, and I ended up falling in love with the covers of all of the books in these paperback editions from William Morrow. Even if I didn't like the books, I think the covers are so nice I'd probably stull want them.

See? Aren't these pretty? And the covers also mostly make sense as representations of the titles/stories for many of the books, though some get a little abstract. But these two are right on the money.

The Graveyard Book cover makes sense, but American Gods' cover is getting a little abstract... I actually feel like that would be a better cover for Anansi Boys, as I could kind of imagine that as being the god-caves described in that book. Not sure what it's supposed to represent for this one...but the book itself is still aces!

The Fragile Things cover is very abstract and I'm not sure what that's supposed to be. Same for Anansi Boys--although it almost looks like an abstract of the American flag...I wonder if they just got the art mixed up for "Gods" and this one? Still pretty though. (And I don't mind that the short story compilation covers are more abstract. Hard to sum those up in a glance.) I've got three more to read and I'm sure you'll hear about it once I have!

Adele's new album "30." Good, but I like some of her others better. That said this one hasn't really had time to grow on me yet, so I may be eating those words before long.

(Kinda) new one from the Descendents. Sounds great. Fits right in with the rest of their stuff. But I also haven't fully absorbed it yet, because I've not really been in a punk mood. But I'll get there.

My only criticism of the Jazz is Dead series is too much is coming out too quickly and I'm having trouble keeping up, but it sure is good stuff!

New Dream Theater. Sounds like Dream Theater. What else could you ask for?

And here are my Christmas favorites that I mentioned. Particularly love that Aimee Mann album (of course).
