Episode 171 - On This Show, We Work With Cats

In this episode I talk about Doctor Who, Friends, Glen Hansard, Lisa O'Neill, and Neil Young, amidst other things, including a desperately meowing McGuire... It's a fun one!

Photos:
Here's the cover photo. Y'know, if you took the show logo off of it, it'd just be a photo. But since it has the logo, it's a COVER photo. Isn't life an amazing fucking miracle?

My copy of the complete Friends series. And yeah, okay... Some of it hasn't aged well. And Ross is an asshole. And everybody on the show is kind of a terrible person. And I'm not 100% sure that they actually ARE friends. And...what was I talking about?

I guess future pressings of this BluRay set should be labeled "The NOT QUITE Complete..." David Tennant (and Catherine Tate--whose name I remembered all by myself--returned for three new specials this year! Christmas came early, but it's also still happening on Christmas, so you don't have to worry about that or anything.

Glen Hansard's new album. I really find his music soothing. This one's been a very welcome listen this week.

Lisa O'Neill has one of those BIG voices and a wonderful accent that just wraps around you, if you're a fan of Irish music. This one's perfect for a rainy day. Which is exactly what we're having in St. Louis at the time of writing. So...neat!

Neil Young covering Neil Young in an echo-laden room that you just imagine is probably a church. It's great.
