Empty Checking #1 - June 26, 2010

This week's podcast serves as an introduction to the series. In addition to the actual purchases, I discuss some of my vision for the podcast and some other things that are on my mind including some quick music and TV reviews.  Should be plenty for everyone to dig into...but the purchases are exclusively comic books.  And I managed to do ALL of this first post without saying any swear words!  :)

Forecast:

• Next week should prove interesting.  There are some DVDs out that I've been meaning to pick up that should find their way onto the blog.  But the comics are likely to be a little thin next week.  Doesn't look like there's a ton coming out that I want to pick up.  So if comic books aren't your thing, then next week might be a more interesting listen for you than this week was. 
• Plus...I can't BELIEVE I forgot to talk about the RETURN of Futurama in the podcast! (It was awesome.)

EDIT - There's been an issue with some disappearing, reappearing empty space at the bottom of the post(s).  Hopefully it's not there while you're reading this...but if it is, please know that I'm aware of it and it bugs me too--probably more than it bugs you.  I'm working on it.
