In this (long-awaited?) return to the show, I talk about a bunch of stuff! The cats have arrived and taken over my house, but there's also plenty of movies and music to talk about too. I talk about Turning Red, My Dinner With Andre, and The Breakfast Club (it's a good group), and music from Frank Turner, Guided By Voices, and Dolly Parton. In addition I bid farewell to Taylor Hawkins. And other stuff. Thanks for your patience! I should be uploading pretty regularly from now on!

Here's how it breaks down:
And here's some photos:

Here's the cover photo. I forgot to mention it when I was talking about the movie, but I particularly liked the kid with the braces. |

Everybody meet Jonco! He's classified as a "brown" tabby but there's a lot of grey in there too. Regardless...what a handsome boy! |
And everybody also meet McGuire! He's an orange boy--little bit of brown and blonde in him too though! As the sun's hanging around more, he's getting blonder and blonder, but I think he'll pop back orange in the autumn. But even if not...what a handsome boy! |

I was super bummed to hear about Taylor Hawkins. I've been listening to a lot of Foo Fighters since, of course. This one's my favorite of their many great albums. |
It's got a reputation. And that reputation needs to be better. It's a great movie. |
Classic movie, packaged in a Criterion package, making it even cooler. Had a lot of fun reliving the 80s watching this one! |
Frank Turner released a new album. And it's very Frank Turnery. Except he's apparently straightedge now. |
Guided By Voices have released their 75th studio album in the last two years...it's a GBV album. I like it. |
And Dolly Parton showed up, kicked ass, recorded it, and gave it to us as a gift. |
